When you update from a version prior to Monitorpack Snmp 2.5.0, a manual modification to each MDB database located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\MonitorPack Snmp\Databases directory is required. To do this, you must stop the Windows MonitorpackSNMP and MonitorpackControlSnmp services from services.msc and then add a column named "Application" below the "Dashboard" column for the three existing databases (DatabaseSnmp.mdb, ReportSnmp.mdb, and Schedulesnmp.mdb) using Access's database editing mode. This limitation is due to the fact that updates do not overwrite your existing alerts and therefore preserve the files. This procedure is no longer necessary starting with Monitorpack Snmp version 2.5.0. |
